Whale Watching from Land!
Hermanus, South Africa lies on the Western Cape two hours from Cape Town and close to the most southern point in Africa. It is a major tourist destination in South Africa because it's simply the best place in the world from land to watch whales. The peak time for whale watching there is from August to November. During this time you can see whales everyday from a cliff path which runs the length of Hermanus. There are many things to do there. Whale watching, great white shark viewing, cage diving with great whites, diving, fishing, wine tasting, hiking in the Fernkloof Nature Reserve, beaches, sailing, paragliding from the mountains, and scenic drives with wonderful panoramic views. ZAGOVA invites you to make a reservation with our friends at the Quarters Hotel in Hermanus.
